The University of Vermont College of Medicine and The University of Vermont Medical Center, leaders in patient care, medical education and research, are seeking an individual who is board certified/eligible in Rheumatology for a full time position as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Tenure Pathway). The candidate should be a Physician Scientist with primary interest in clinical, translational, outcomes-based research in rheumatology and/or metabolic bone disease. Clinical responsibilities will be centered around the care of patients with rheumatic diseases. Educational responsibilities include mentoring, supervising and teaching fellows and other post-graduate trainees, medical students and colleagues.

Candidate must have an M.D. or M.D. plus Ph.D. degree with specialty training in rheumatology including board eligibility/certification in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
