The Department of Family Medicine at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center invites applications for a board certified or eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our dynamic and growing academic Division of Palliative Medicine.

The successful candidate will

- enhance the Division’s focus on Excellence in Communication quality, innovation, training, scholarship and research
- contribute to a vibrant interdisciplinary team
- care for adult and pediatric patients and their families in the inpatient, outpatient and tele-consult setting
- demonstrate outstanding communication skills in interpersonal, clinical, and teaching settings

The clinical appointment will be at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Clinical Scholar pathway; commensurate with experience. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.
