Posting Summary

Acquire, process, analyze, and document geospatial data sets in support of a wide variety of natural resource and transportation related projects with a particular emphasis on the operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and the processing and analysis of UAS acquired data sets.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one-year experience with geospatial technologies. FAA Part 107 UAS operator license or ability to obtain required. Experience operating fixed-wing and multi-rotor UAS platforms required. Knowledge of photogrammetric image processing workflows required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a variety of geospatial software packages required.
Knowledge of principles, practices, terminology, and trends in geospatial technology required. Experience processing vector, raster, and point cloud data sets. Ability to access variety of work sites both on and off campus required.
