Posting Summary

Perform financial & budget analyses, conduct various budget operations & provide assistance & support to assigned University units relative to annual budget building process, financial policies, providing technical support as related to the University budgeting and financial reporting system.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field and two to four years’ related experience. Effective financial analysis skills required. Proficient with use of computer applications in a business setting to manage work and improve productivity; effective writing, communication & interpersonal skills required. Experience in managerial accounting in a complex ERP environment. Proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications. Familiarity with computer programming concepts. Demonstrated commitment to workplace diversity and delivering exceptional customer service required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience in higher education administration highly desirable, as is knowledge of University of Vermont systems & organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
