Posting Summary

The Program Coordinator assists with the development and implemention of the QuEST Graduate Training Program. Works closely with the Director of the QuEST to manage all aspects of the program, which supports research training in environmental and global health problems among over 30 faculty from 8 or more academic units at the University. Coordinate QuEST activities to include advertising, oversee student application and admission process, and provide budget oversight. Perform pre-enrollment examinations, organize Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusion Trainings, and evaluation logistics. Provide internships coordination and prepare annual reports.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one to three years’ related experience required. Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required. Proficiency with website maintenance, word processing, spread sheet and database applications. Analytical skills required.

Desirable Qualifications

Training and background in cultural sensitivity and inclusion training highly desired. Experience with program coordination, budgeting, assessment desirable.
Direct knowledge and skills related to STEM research, internship coordination, quantitative data analysis on program effectiveness, guidance of doctoral students, and experience with or training in diversity initiatives desired.
