Posting Summary

Repair, calibrate, install and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of complex healthcare and research instruments. Provide customer support in the management of clinical technology for multiple clients.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Associate’s degree in in Biomedical technology or electronics with three years related experience required. Valid driver’s license and driver’s check required. Successful completion of a background check required. Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Effective communication, customer service and computer skills required.

Desirable Qualifications

Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician desirable.
Certification NSF/ANSI 49
Certification CETA

Special Conditions Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Travel to and from worksites required
