Posting Summary

Provide athletic training services for varsity student-athletes, including acute care, rehabilitation and health & performance education. Support the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Vermont. Promote a safe, accessible and supportive health care environment for all varsity student-athletes of all races, ethnicities, religious beliefs, genders, sexual orientations, abilities and ages.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Master’s Degree in health care related field and two years athletic training experience with collegiate athletics required. NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; Vermont Certified Athletic Trainer required. Knowledge of computer software to assist with scheduling, networking, and student instruction.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to health care of student-athletes and to diversity and inclusiveness.
