Posting Summary
Provide leadership in serving as BEST (Building Effective Supports for Teaching Students with Behavioral Challenges) VT PBIS (Vermont Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Program Co-Coordinator to oversee grant application, development, and management of overall work plan based on priorities established by the Vermont Agency of Education in conjunction with fellow project co-coordinator. Provide on-site (local, regional and statewide) consultation and technical assistance to schools and human service organizations that include the systems, practices, and data-based decision making of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) within a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Design and develop written materials for dissemination to the field about best practices and other written documents or grant proposals, reports, and presentations. Supervise up to 12 implementation coaches around the state. Coordination with CDCI Business Manager to monitor and execute sponsored project and income expense account budgets associated with VTPBIS. Coordinate curriculum design and course instruction for VTPBIS courses in alignment with the BEST/VTmtss Summer Institute with UVM course instructors. Serve as representative of VTPBIS, CDCI, and UVM at local and national conferences and committee membership. 
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, Education or other relevant discipline and two to four years related experience required. Knowledge of service systems and practices for children and adolescents who are at risk of or who have a serious emotional disturbance and their families, including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports required. Experience working collaboratively in a leadership role with: state agencies and systems, service providers, schools, local communities, families, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders required. Experience in organizing, developing and delivering conferences and workshops, classes or curricula, and other relevant training and technical assistance activities required. 
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in grant writing/management desirable. Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion, including experience with historically underserved groups, communities, children, and families desirable.
